Morgan Marshall

My approach to yoga is influenced mainly by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli, working with the breath and gravity to find freedom of movement, particularly in the spine. I love the organic, sensitive nature of this type of yoga and the way it takes account of individual bodies. I see yoga as a journey of discovery, both physically and on many other levels. I like the idea of integrating yoga into our lives generally, so that we move in the world with more awareness and in a more integrated, harmonious and healthier way. I love the more contemplative aspects of yoga and I often use the rhythms of nature as inspiration. Being aware of the breath, the movement, the season... this takes me deeper within myself and makes me feel more connected to the natural world. There's something almost sacred about it. I am qualified with the British Wheel of Yoga (Scaravelli influenced – Chloe Freemantle, Pete Blackaby, Lisa Mcrory, Cara Bowen, Gary Carter), with Yoga Alliance (Yin/Yang Yoga – Simon Low) and with the Yoga Nidra Network. I am insured through the British Wheel of Yoga and have a First Aid certificate for teaching yoga.
