Feldenkrais classes help us improve what ever we would like to do better in life. May this be bending down, turning, sitting, walking or other everyday activities. They also support existing skills in music, the performance arts or sport. In lessons the teacher guides you verbally through a sequence of movements where you are encouraged to inquire into your own experience and sensations of the movements. Where do you move with ease, where do you use too much effort? Could you coordinate your movements differently to make them more comfortable? How do you breath as you move? These observations lead us to a better sense and understanding of how we move and how we can adjust it to suit the present moment.
