Cara has been teaching yoga since 2000 when she trained as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher with Peter Blackaby. Cara teaches an approach to yoga that respects individual difference and the natural capacity of the body to heal itself. Her teaching is creative and non-dogmatic, inspired by the work of Vanda Scaravelli and Mary Stewart, as well as Insight Meditation and the Feldenkrais Method. Her classes offer a friendly and supportive environment in which you can unwind, move and breathe. She is much more interested in helping you feel comfortable in your body than achieve a perfect posture. Meditation is a key part of her practice, and she brings a contemplative approach to all her classes. She also enjoys working with sound, both in movement and sitting, as a means to release tension and bring focus to the mind.
