With a background in education and a strong interest in movement, I enrolled in my original Feldenkrais training in Italy in 1993. Since completing my training in 1997, I have been developing my private practice, working with children and adults, alongside teaching regular classes and workshops. Over the years I attended numerous advanced trainings working with senior Feldenkrais trainers in different countries. To deepen my understanding of the Method further, I took part in a Feldenkrais mentoring course (2003-2006) in Amsterdam which enabled me to learn how to best support newly qualified Feldenkrais teachers in ongoing mentoring groups. And I recently became a Feldenkrais assistant trainer. Working with adults and children individually and in groups, I wanted to understand more fully how babies learn to move from birth and how this influences the way we later move as adults. I therefore took part in the 2nd Child'Space training in Amsterdam (2011-2013) which is based on the Feldenkrais Method but applies it's principles more directly to working with babies and infants. This course was invaluable in my understanding of human development and functioning. I now also offer groups for parents and their babies and work with babies with developmental or neurological challenges individually in my private practice.
